Belen boasts three comfortable cabañas that have space for a total of 12 visitors, each with mosquito netting and very comfortable beds. Excellent local dishes, including lobster and shrimp, are served in a spacious palm-thatched restaurant.
Transportation
From Belen, “expreso” (direct) boat service can be arranged for travel to/from Las Marias, Brus Laguna, Raista, Plaplaya, or Palacios. “Collectivo” or shared boat service is also available. Please see the Getting Around La Moskitia page for more information on boat/transportation costs.
